It's written in a style that's not merely descriptive, it's very interactive. I'd give it 5 stars except the author spent more time on the hulls and rudders than on the rigs. It's easy to say it when it's right there to read in Ephesians 5:25, but applying it was always a mystery. My biggest complaint is that the facts provided about a species cite no reference. Book did a wonderful job helping me do some self introspection. It’s lovely, but *takes a moment* since this is a foodie book, I have to go with the food analogy - I needed a bit more salty to counteract the sweet. They're also fun and make you feel great. The impossibility of an individual being "a blank slate" has been recognized and the training concept is now for the clinician to appropriately use her/himself in the counseling hour, availing themselves of the life/training/values/morals they possess as an asset in helping those who come for help.
