Although their marriage was not mentioned in the book, this was during the many years California prohibited wedlock between Asians and whites under so-called anti-miscegenation statutes. If you want a more in depth and more generalized broader self-help type book, there are plenty more out there. Such a sweet book, got it for my two great-nieces, now I'm looking forward to getting one for my own baby due in December!. The author respects her readers and what they want to accomplish and I recommend this book to anyone who wants to really learn Photoshop Elements and start making use of all those photos you have lying around or the really damaged ones you thought would never be useable again. The intent and content are very good for beginners.
