Vietnam was a different kind of war, calling for a different kind of soldier. This is their story--of perseverence under extreme hardship and uncommon bravery--and how they carried out the war's most hazardous missions.. The LRRPs--Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols--were that new breed of fighting man. They operated in six-man teams deep within enemy territory, and were the eyes and ears of the units they servedThe point is that multiple contributing causes are in evidence in a financial crisis. Scott's work and I would definitely recommend this book.. Most interesting use of language and wonderful character development.. I have loved all of Alice Clayton's previous books (the cocktail and redhead series were amazing) and eagerly wait to buy and read them. Also, Galileo did not use the metric system, a misstatement which may create future confusion.-- The authors have inaccurately described gravity as a property of planetary and other bodies: "The moon, on the other hand, is much smaller than the earth, and has only about one-sixth of the gravity of the earth." In fact, gravity is not a property of bodies; it is a force which acts upon them. I have read a good deal of the anecdotal evidence for the consciousness of both species elsewhere. I loved this book. I too live in Boulder and although I don't know exact details, was not surprised that the Boulder Food Co-op did not succeed, based on what I heard and what I saw when I shopped in the store. We never had any problems until the situations happened and he just wanted to act like they didn't happen. I especially appreciate the large number of shojo/josei titles (Love Roma, Banana Fish) included, which is something that other volumes on manga have neglected. I have been buying books/other itemsThis is their story--of perseverence under extreme hardship and uncommon bravery--and how they carried out the war's most hazardous missions.
